While by and large I agree with your thoughts and enjoyed your style of communication which is better than any seasoned writer
My comments are
1 talking about the country from where we both hail from the police back home can not shoot a person Fatally
By law they can only shoot below the knee to in incapacitate the person so that suspect can be arrested and proper inquiry and charges can be booked
But unfortunately in this country under the self protection law the officer chooses to take shelter invariably with out pre emoting available safe options expected from professional
Take the case of the Plano swimming pool issue .
The manner in which police handled young kids in the pool does not exhibit a balanced approach by police
The recent death of Sara bland in police custody and prior to the manner in which she was handled does not show any support to police
For violation of change of lane the officer could have just issued a ticket with out escalating to arrest
Police should create an impact among public that they are friends of people and guardian of public interest and not authority wielding COP
Many more such incidents
Will you agree with this

Hi Ram,
Per my knowledge, even in the US, the police cannot use deadly force unless they believe they are in physical danger. You might recall, in the recent South Carolina case, the policeman who shot a person who was running away was arrested and charged with murder.
In the McKinney (not Plano) swimming pool incident, the policeman drew his gun when it appeared he was being rushed from behind (as I saw in the video). And children in India would not dare behave with a policeman like those kids in McKinney, who appeared to think that could defy the policeman with impunity.
Finally, in the Sandra Bland case, it seems to me that she would not have been arrested if she had simply put out her cigarette and behaved politely with the policeman on being stopped rather than becoming belligerent. Why she killed herself while in jail is still a mystery, yet to be solved.
